Best Time to Visit Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka’s west coast is best from Nov-May, while the east and south coast shine from Mar-Sep. The central highlands are a bit rainy year‑round, though Low-Mid Hill Country (Kandy & Ella) gets extra rainy in Oct–Nov, and has mixed weather during Apr-Dec. In High Hill Country (Nuwara Eliya & Horton Plains), rain is even more frequent.
If you want a full breakdown, I also have a deep‑dive post on the best time to visit Sri Lanka.
